We have 3 segments. The lower segment’s extensions move us on land or propel us in water. The middle segment’s extensions allow us to move in trees and skillfully manipulate matter in a new domain outside of nature (the domain of human manufacture). This is a form of ‘flight’ in that it comprises a degree of liberty. Now… what of the third segment’s ‘extensions’?
