Animals amaze us in part because they are on fire with active sensing. They seem like martial artists because they are ˚completely invested in each moment˚, but there is apparently no abstraction involved — it is direct, in-your-face, exploding into living reality without disguise. Compared to this the common human looks like a miraculously sophisticated envelope — with nothing in it.
