If one does not struggle to gain a more comprehensive understanding of Rhetoric, it is as if one’s mathematical knowledge ends at adding and subtracting. In other words, the capacity to use and understand language is a benefit primarily when Rhetoric is clearly understood, and tends to become a tool of domination where it is not.
