What we call a ‘child’ is, to a profound extent, the expression of the Right Hemisphere: it is innocent, playful, wants to bond, loving, and curious. When we protect ‘children’ this is what we claim to be protecting. And they should be protected. However, it is obvious that since -you do not outgrow one of your BRAIN HEMISPHERES- the protections of childhood MUST EXTEND TO EVERYONE.
