Ask yourself this question: How much oil is required to fund the US military annually? In other words, if we did -all- the accounting (for every being harmed and killed in every way, by extraction, transport, use, storage, cleaning, maintainance, pollution, indirect effects) — what would the ‘cost’ be? Could it turn out to be, as I have long held, -EVERYTHING-? For us, the answer is yes.
