When I was a child, the UN was posited as the answer to war. It rose in the specter of the devastation of WWII. Catastrophically, we have completely forgotten those dangers, and now pursue them with all our military and technological resources. What this means is complex. But it may well mean the end of human children on Earth, and soon. Think it over, humans.
