In the West, people think like this: You’re good or bad. You love or hate. This is like trying to find a way to get rid of every one of your own appendages until ‘the right one remains’. In other places, some intelligence survives. People seek many conflicting positions as fuel for ongoing synthesis. Go ahead and ‘get rid’ of those ‘toxic fingers’. Me?
