Strangely, both Science and Organized Religion represent ways of knowing that have long vied for sovereignty over human ideation, experiences of identity, and meaning. Both are vastly self-interested, and while each possesses extremely compelling arguments, both are required to ignore reality — which has little to do with arguments, and a lot to do with children.
