I didn’t realize the degree to which posting quotations had replaced actual communication on facebook, but I suggest that this ‘fun habit’ is far more insidious than it superficially appears: substituting the words of the dead or famous for our own is a disease, not a game. It has costs, impacts, and effects. I don’t care what Hafiz said, and I don’t care what Rumi said. I want YOU.
